View (from property/room) in Silk Path Grand Hue Hotel
The property is excellently located - so close to the train station which is perfect (especially if you’re arriving late from Hanoi - we walked the 300m with no issue) The room was bright and it was the best bed we slept in throughout our whole stay in south east Asia so far - pure, luxurious comfort. The food was excellent - we had lunch there for one day in our stay, and a hearty, generous breakfast every morning another best: best massage my husband and I have had in years (do the imperial package with the herbal tea bath - it’s worth it) Proximity to the river and imperial complex was great - we walked along and crossed over (1.5k) but you could easily cycle or take a “Grab” or Tuktuk etc. Staff were very polite and friendly - from the bellman, to the ground staff, therapists, restaurant staff, parking attendants, cleaners - all fantastic and eager to help. Very well trained. We spoke briefly with a senior member of staff as we were leaving - he was charming and seemed genuinely interested to know about our stay and wish us well on the journey

The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from the beach promenade and within walking distance to many attractions. Despite its central location, the pool area is peaceful and beautifully surrounded by lush greenery. The breakfast buffet is excellent, offering a wide variety of choices. What really makes me want to return, though, is the staff. Even though the hotel is fairly large with many guests, the staff still remember you and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and satisfied. After a terrible flight experience, we were warmly received by the front desk staff. Due to delays, we couldn’t use the airport pickup service the hotel offers, but they kindly offered to drive us to the train station when we checked out instead – a gesture we truly appreciated. A special mention goes to Thuong, the breakfast hostess, who remembered both our room number and exactly how I like my coffee each morning.

This hotel is beautiful for the price you pay. The pool is lovely, but it’s quite cold!!! It's not heated at all. The room we had was renovated, but we had the chance to walk through the hallway and see other rooms that weren't. So, when you book, I recommend asking if your room has been renovated. The service was excellent, and the location is great. A great highlight, especially when traveling with children, is that with certain packages they offer, they provide the option to wear traditional costumes during your stay. Our kids loved being in a room full of traditional costumes and having the chance to choose one to wear Since we were only passing through Hué, we only stayed one night, but we were happy with the hotel.

Beautiful Hotel a few minutes walk from Train Station. Great facilities- outdoor pool temperature was very pleasant. Nice restaurants onside- we had lunch & dinner there and both very good but is more expensive than restaurants in centre of Hue but still reasonable by European standards. We booked a driver through Get Your Guide who brought us to 3 of the main temples & Celestial Lady Pagoda afternoon we arrived. We bought a combo ticket at 1st temple which covered all the temples and Imperial City which we visited next morning via Grab taxi. Breakfast was excellent with great variety to suit everyone. We only stayed one night so didn't use all the Hotel facilities. Would highly recommend this Hotel

A superb hotel in Hue close to the Perfume River and a short taxi ride away from all the main sights. The room was a good size with a comfortable extra large bed for 2 adults (and 1 kid) and we had an extra bed for our other child. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of foods on offer , the hotel grounds were beautiful and the swimming pool was a perfect place to cool down in the afternoon and the children loved their poolside pizza. We also appreciated the opportunity to try on the traditional clothes at the hotel. We really liked Hue and would have liked to have spent more time in the city (we only had one night), if we return to Hue, we would choose to stay at Silk Path again.
